Who is responsible
The scorecard is run by Ayokunle Owoniyi in a personal capacity. It is not run by, or on behalf of, any employer or firm he works with. You can reach him through his LinkedIn profile.
What is collected
When you finish the scorecard, your answers, your scores, the role you chose and the country you chose are saved with a random reference number. No name, email or other detail that identifies you is saved with them.
If you join the newsletter, your email, your first name if you give it, your industry and company size if you give them, and the date of your consent are also saved. They are kept with the reference number of your scorecard so that the newsletter can reflect your results.
Why it is used
Scorecard answers are studied in total to understand where finance leaders find the CFO role hardest. Results are only ever reported in total, never for one person.
Your email is used only to send you The Business-Minded Finance Leader and related notes from Ayokunle Owoniyi. It is used on the basis of your consent. Your details are not sold or shared with anyone for their own marketing.
Where it is stored
The site is hosted by Vercel and the data is stored with Airtable. Both are based in the United States, so your data is transferred outside your country. Both providers apply contractual and security safeguards to the data they hold.
How long it is kept
Your newsletter details are kept until you unsubscribe or ask for them to be removed. Scorecard answers are kept for up to 3 years.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your details, and you can withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting anything done before. Every newsletter email will include a way to unsubscribe. If you are unhappy with how your data is handled, you can complain to your data protection authority, which in Nigeria is the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.
